Management
Top management is responsible for company policy, and both are supervised by the Board of Directors.
The top management currently consists of four people:
| Wim Maes | Chief Executive Officer Wim Maes (°1972) was appointed CEO of Punch Telematix in July 2007. Before that, he was briefly CEO of Punch Technix. He started his career with Traficon, where he fulfilled various technical functions, rising to become Technical Director. Then he worked for Barco for 6 years, where he occupied positions successively as Sales Executive, Sales Manager EMEA and Manager Sales & Marketing for Barco Simulation. | Michel Van Maercke | Chief Financial Officer Michel Van Maercke (°1974) was appointed CFO of Punch Telematix in May 2007. Before that, since January 2006 he was General Manager of Punch Campus in Namestovo, Slovakia. He began his career as an auditor with KPMG in Belgium, and then worked for three years in various financial and management functions at Elementis Specialties. Michel Van Maercke is Master in Applied Economics (UFSIA, Belgium). |
| Frédéric Boes | Chief Technical Officer Frédéric Boes (°1964) is CTO at Punch Telematix. He started his international career with Philips, and in 1989, he set up Advantra which forms the foundation of the present-day Punch Telematix, which was taken over in 2001 by parent company Punch. He also founded Punch Electronique, a Punch subsidiary. He is also general manager of SpaceChecker, a sister company of Punch Telematix. Frédéric Boes is Electronic Engineer and was also trained at Vlerick Management School. |
| Tony Verschelden | Director of Product Management Tony Verschelden (°1960) is Director of Product Management since January 2008 . In 1983 he started his career at the former Barco Electronic. Within Barco, he held diverse management postitions, mainly in the domain of product development, product and technology strategy and market development. Tony Verschelden is Master of Applied Sciences and Electronic Engineering (RUG - Belgium). |
