Server Java Developper
Our servers receive the data from all the carcubes. This data is processed and stored into our database. Customers retrieve data by downloading information, by generating reports or by plotting the location of the vehicle on a map. A geoserver generates these maps and determines the address of the postion of the vehicle.
We are growing fast, and the servers need to cope with more and more data in the database, and more and more data to be processed in a certain timeframe. Special techniques are developed to make the system more redundant and more scalable, in order to follow the growing demand.
Customers also want more features and reports. The evolution in the market has to be reflected in the server's features.
Your role will be to develop those features, and to help the system to grow in terms of nr of units, and scalability.
As a Punch Telematix software developer,you shape the next generation of telematics applications in the domains of track and trace, mobile services and mobile communications. You have a high degree of responsibility and are able to work independently.
Required profile :
- Deep technical knowledge of Java.
- Good knowledge of Java Enterprise Application development, Java Messaging, Web Services, Relational database technologies, ...
- Familiarity with JBoss Application Server is highly appreciated.
- Experience with development tools such as Ant, JUnit, Cactus testing, Eclipse, CVS.
- Dedicated to delivering high quality and performant solutions.
