Manage your entire fleet from your web-browser. Being in control of your fleet or remote assets has never been easier. Reduce costs, increase productivity & efficiency by tracking and tracing your fleet. Fixed away in your vehicles/ mobile assets, the Punch Telematix Carbox® Advanced service includes an intelligent mobile tracking device, with built-in GPS receiver and GPRS wireless modem. The Carbox registers driver-behavior, GPS coordinates, start/stops, and other relevant information for your business. All events and data are forwarded real-time to the back-office over GPRS.
Avoid time and money piecing together your own system. The extensive Carbox® Advanced service includes everything you need: a web-enabled back office application, Airtime (GPRS), integration, installation services and service levels.
Live Track & Tracing
Track each vehicle or asset and get information on actual position, elapsed time/ distance, speed. Real time data on vehicle, driver and alerts can be sent in this way.
Reporting
Carbox® Advanced service includes an extensive reporting tool. With simple clicks on your mouse you can easily generate vehicle timesheets with driving times, distances and activity reports. Advanced reporting includes: POI visit reports, alarming, journey and anomalies reports (over-speed). Reports can be viewed in HTML, XLS and PDF formats.
Security & Alarming
The Carbox® Advanced service offers a complete solution for alarm and security management. This includes managing active alarms, detecting unauthorized vehicle or asset movement and taking critical action. Many businesses have equipment, vehicle or other gear spread out throughout a region. For instance, containers, trailers and cranes.
Fleet managers, Risk managers and Security Center Operators can view and manage alarms automatically sent by the CarBox to the Fleetworks back office. This helps to ensure driver security, recover vehicles, products and goods after theft. To satisfy enhanced security requirements, the Carbox® is equipped with a 2D solid state motion sensor.
Identification & Journey Selection
Optional driver identification through iButton and work, private or commute mode selection by a 3 state switch. Driver identification enables time registration, measure driver working hours and travel time.
Metering & monitoring
Optionally the Carbox® Advanced service supports a wide range of digital and analog appliances to monitor variables such as engine status. Running hours of equipment (assets) can be logged and reported separately in the Fleetworks Back office.
Integration with third party software
The advanced Fleetworks back office allows for real time integration with third party back offices over the Internet using SOAP (webservice) and/or an intermediate XML file bridge.
